Assets

Assets are files you upload to the platform that can be used as references during video generation, influencing the style, composition, and content of the output. Renoise supports multiple types of asset files.

Supported formats#

TypeFormatDescription
ImageJPG, PNG, WebP, BMPUsed as visual reference to influence style and composition. Max 30 MB, 300–6000 px
VideoMP4, MOV, WebMUsed as camera movement and pacing reference. Total reference-video duration ≤ 15.2 s; each clip must stay within the selected model’s resolution and duration limits
AudioMP3, WAV, AACUsed as background music or voice reference. Max 50 MB per file; Seedance reference audio 2–15 s

How to use#

In the console task creation page, use the @ symbol in the prompt editor to reference uploaded assets. When using the Skill, you can specify local file paths and the Skill will automatically upload and link them.

When submitting via the API, materials[].index (0-based) determines the @ImageN / @VideoN numbering; if omitted, array order is used.

Automatic deduplication#

Assets are deduplicated by file content (MD5) — identical files will not be uploaded twice, saving storage space and upload time.
