Generate videos with Codex

Install the Renoise Skill in Codex and generate videos directly within the Codex workflow.

Prerequisites#

You need to install Codex. Codex requires a paid OpenAI subscription.

Install via Chat (Recommended)#

Paste the following message directly into your Codex session:

Install plugin from the repo https://github.com/renoise-ai/renoise-plugins-official

Install via Terminal#

Or run the following command in your terminal:

codex plugin marketplace add renoise-ai/renoise-plugins-official
codex plugin add renoise@renoise-plugins

Generate a video#

You can now ask Codex to generate videos directly. Codex automatically handles the entire workflow — understanding your request, crafting a professional prompt, creating the task, polling for status, and downloading the result.
